Cake Pans 101

Mini cake pans can provide a fun way to bake cakes. I usually think of mini cake pans as being the basic shapes such as round, rectangular, square or bundt, but actually there are also a lot of mini character cake pans available as well. Some of these are cupcake size and some are a little larger.

Mini cake pans provide a good opportunity to have different small character cakes rather than having a larger cake with just one character. Some of the mini pans also provide single servings, which gives the opportunity of each person decorating his or her own cake.
