A beehive cake pan can assist you in making a unique cake. Beehive cake pans normally are shaped like a beehive and stand upright, but many also have the bees right in the cake mold design. You can decorate the little bees with some yellow and black icing, and drizzle some rather thin icing from the top to represent honey. My suggestion is to get some additional bee cake decorations to put a variety of sugary bees all over the cake for more of a 3d, realistic effect. If you need multiple cakes, how about a Winnie the Pooh cake AND a beehive cake. A very cute idea!

House cake pans can make a blank canvas for your decorating pleasure.  You can get the whole family involved in adding windows, a door, a roof and more using icing or pieces of candy. Some of the house cake pans feature a stand up house cake pan design where your house cake will stand up after it is made. You can accent this kind of cake by placing accessories such as grass, trees or perhaps cookies shaped like people or pets.  

Another type of pan that is really popular is the haunted house cake pan.  This can be used to make a super scary cake for a Halloween party, pot luck at Halloween time or for family or friends.
