Baby Shower Cake Pans
Baby shower cake pans can come in many forms, depending upon your taste. There are several types of cake pans with baby themes on the market. Some of the ones that I have seen include teddy bears, baby buggies, pans in the shape of a baby, etc. These types of pans would make a nice cake for a baby shower.
You could also make a cake in a basic shape, such as round or square, and decorate with baby themed decorations or with decorations that fit the interests of the parents such as a football themed cake, a music themed cake, etc.
(Another fun idea for a baby shower that is decorative but not edible is a diaper cake or a towel cake that can serve as a centerpiece for the table as well as a gift).

Cake Pan with Sliding Lid
I like cake pans with sliding lids because you can bake a cake in the pan and then put it in the refrigerator without the necessity of covering it up or putting the cake in another container. Every time you want a piece of cake, you can just take the pan from the refrigerator, open the lid and get the cake, and return it to the fridge.
Not only are these cake pans with lids handy at home, but they are also great for times when you need to take a cake to a pot luck event at an organization, church or at work. There is not as much worry about transporting a cake in your car when it is safe and secure in a container.
